In August, Business Roundtable released a new Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation. Signed by 181 CEOs, including American Express, Amazon, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and the Progressive Company, these executives affirm to lead their companies for the benefit of ALL stakeholders (yes, stakeholders), including customers, employees, suppliers, communities and shareholders.
